Main Instance Type

The billing of RDS for SQL Server instance types refers to the billing of computing resources (vCPUs and memory). Instances are billed based on instance type, including vCPUs and memory. Prices of an instance type may vary with specification.

Read Only Instance Type

Cloud SSD Storage

The pricing of storage capacity varies based on the storage type that you select. You are charged for storage based on their unit price, capacity, and use duration.

Note: System storage that is created along with SQL Server instance use the same billing method as the SQL Server instance.
